THE JAPANESE ECONOMIC REVOLUTION
The battle between economic titans that the Bank of Japan and the country’s government arranged for the entire world could not be ignored by the editorial team of ForTraders.org. Political events, almost dramatic, that have led to directional movements in currency pairs with the yen over the last few weeks, have kept any foreign exchange trader awake. Even those speculators who do not trade JPY have been following the events that have become almost a sensation.
Indeed, a country that seemed to be the most conservative from a political and economic perspective has come into motion due to the desire of one active Japanese person, the new Prime Minister of the country, Shinzo Abe. Risking losing long-term stability, he is taking the path of serious reforms, even looking at constitutional principles. It is difficult to say whether the Land of the Rising Sun can withstand such changes. The Bank of Japan has already yielded to the head of the government, now it’s up to the national debt, which threatens to rise to a number with dangerous 15 zeros and turn into default.
One thing can be said with certainty: Shinzo Abe is creating a new economic history for Japan, and we will see what the end will be.
