Баррель нефти – американская единица измерения объема нефти. Один баррель нефти равен 158,988 литрам, что в несколько раз больше, чем та же мера объема для других жидкостей.

На мировом рынке баррель используется в качестве основной единицы измерения для продажи нефти, поэтому при работе с данным сырьевым инструментом цена на мировые марки (Brent, WTI и т.п.) определяется именно в долларах за баррель.
