Daniel Parker

The PFE Scalping High Frequency trading strategy is based on proprietary indicators and can be used for scalping and day trading on currency pairs in the direction of the current trend, determined by the moving average fan. Volatile assets that show good movement throughout the day are selected for trading. Additionally, it is advisable to choose active trading times: London and New York sessions.

Input Parameters

  • Currency Pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, AUD/JPY, USD/CAD.
  • Timeframe: M5, M1.
  • Trading Time: London, New York.
  • Risk Management: After calculating the stop-loss, choose a lot size such that the risk does not exceed 2-5% of the deposit per trade.

Used Indicators

To analyze the market, several indicators are required: some are proprietary, while others can be found in the standard terminal package.

  • EMA (633, close);

According to experts from fortraders.org, the PFE Scalping High Frequency trading strategy, despite its name, is more suitable for day trading. Using it for scalping during the American session, when there is increased volatility, is unlikely to be positive, so scalping using this strategy is better done during the Pacific trading session.
