Heiken Ashi Kuskus Scalping Strategy — Intraday Forex Scalping System

Daniel Parker
A beginner-friendly M15 intraday scalping strategy combining Heiken Ashi, Bollinger Bands Stop, pivots, and custom indicators for fast entries.

The Heiken Ashi Kuskus Scalping strategy is an intraday trading system designed for forex scalping and day trading. It combines eight technical indicators—both custom and standard—with straightforward, visually intuitive entry rules. While the author claims high profitability, such assertions should always be validated on a demo account before live trading.

Trading Parameters

To begin trading this strategy, you’ll need:

  • Currency pairs: Any major or minor pair
  • Timeframe: M15
  • Optimal trading session: London and New York sessions
  • Risk management: After calculating your stop-loss, select a lot size that risks no more than 2–5% of your account balance per trade

Indicators Used

The strategy relies on eight indicators with the following settings:

  • Heiken Ashi Kuskus (1, 15)
  • Bollinger Bands Stop (20, 2, 1)
  • Exponential Moving Average (50, Close)
  • Pivot Levels
  • Exponential Moving Average (120, Close)
  • Dolly Trading Time
  • Moving Average Standard Deviation (20, 20)
  • Kuskus Starlight V.2

Exit Rules

  • Take profit: fixed at 15–20 pips, or near pivot level zones

Due to slight signal lag visible in the examples above, large profits are uncommon. Traders may instead use a trailing stop set at 10–15 pips. Close losing positions immediately if the Bollinger Bands Stop indicator flips color. Also monitor oscillator divergence for early reversal warnings.
