MetaTrader 4 Trading Terminal

Diana Mitchell

MetaTrader 4 is a software product for exchange trading, including on the Forex market, developed by the Russian company MetaQuotes. It is currently the most popular and in-demand terminal among practicing traders.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is a platform that allows an exchange trader to access Forex, stock, CFD, and futures trading instruments remotely.

MetaTrader 4 is designed for independent operations on the markets, as well as for graphical market analysis, working with automated trading systems (advisors), testing them, learning trading, and accessing news feeds. A special programming language MQL4, included free of charge in MetaTrader 4 terminal, allows users to create their own automatic trading programs, scripts, indicators, and upload them to the terminal.

MetaTrader 4 is intended for trading on demo (training) and real accounts. Most Russian brokerage companies and dealing centers provide free access to this platform.
